Talk about Christmas spirit! The residents of Rio Lane in the north end of St. Catharines have an abundance of love for the season and they go all out in sharing it, decorating their homes and lawns. Kids will be enthralled; every character they know and love is here, and there are massive and eclectic displays all around. The lights are on every night in December from 5 pm to midnight on this pretty cul-de-sac. Please bring a non-perishable item of food, as the residents are collecting for Community Care of St. Catharines and Thorold. This St. Catharines holiday event is, as of 2019, a 40-year tradition!
Melissa-Marie Shriner puts on an amazing holiday concert called The Songs of Christmas! every year at the Mandeville Theatre at Ridley College. The talented vocalist will be accompanied by Robert Horvath on piano, Attila Darvis on the upright bass, and Mark Polimeni on drums; there will also be an appearance by the a capella men's chorus Harbourtown Sound. Rumour has it Santa himself will pay a visit! The concert is an inspiring and much-loved annual tradition, sure to be a highlight of the season for every member of the family.

What could be merrier than a sing-a-long? The Sing-A-Long Sound of Music is an event the whole family will love. They've taken the most successful movie musical of all time, one everyone knows and loves, and given you permission to join in and belt out all your favourite songs! What a mood-lifting way to spend a few hours. You can even dress up as your favourite character; guests will receive a free party pack of props.
